A Pitch for Husky Toni

A huge thank you to Ulrich for bringing Husky Toni to us and for setting the project out so clearly. We at Hollywood Indie Festival are cheering you on as you continue to create. The pitch follows below.

What is the central conflict and unique selling point of your project?

Toni is fighting against cancer, as a child and now as an adult again. He struggles with his situation and wants to flee with his huskies. But a visiting family helps him to get his confidence back.

Who is the ideal viewer for this project, and which existing films/series is it most comparable to?

People who are in similar situations or having a hard time and search for hope and ways to get through difficult situations. "Sound of Metal" would be the film that is most comparable.

What was the primary inspiration behind this story, and why is now the right time for the world to see it?

I love huskies, they are so special. Like we all are. A lot of people are confronted with serious illness, especially children. They need help and we should be there for them, like Toni and his dogs. When I first met him I recognized the importance of this life and work. And I am sure that many people will love the story and find ways for themselves with it. Especially now when it comes to fall and winter.

Is the project fully completed, or are you currently seeking distribution, finishing funds, or representation?

The project is fully completed. We are seeking distribution or selling the script.
