A Pitch for The Surrealist's Muse

A huge thank you to Steven for bringing The Surrealist's Muse to us and for setting the project out so clearly. We at Hollywood Indie Festival are cheering you on as you continue to create. The pitch follows below.

Logline

Gala, the uncompromising muse of surrealism, sacrifices domestic security and motherhood to empower the emotionally damaged Salvador Dali toward achieving international fame, but ultimately must face her own haunting regrets.

Target Audience

All ages after 18, and people who love stories about women artist and spouses overshadowed by male artists.

Comps

The Wife, Maestro, A beautiful Mind, Frida, Vita & Virginia,

The Vision & Urgency

My reason for writing this script was my love for surrealism, its early practitioners, and illuminating the Dali's wife Gala as a central female figure behind his success and the muse she became for other surrealists at the time.

Current Status or Goals

I'm seeking script option/sale, attached producers, and literary representation.
