A Pitch for Racket Power
A huge thank you to Javs for bringing Racket Power to us and for setting the project out so clearly. We at Hollywood Indie Festival are cheering you on as you continue to create. The pitch follows below.
Racket Power was directed by Javs Rockatansky and Gustavo G. Guevara.
Racket Power is presumably, the first ever documentary dedicated to frontenis, a mexican sport with enormous potential, but modest recognition.
While created with frontenis players and fans in mind, the film is accessible to general audiences of all ages. The participation of Mario Castañeda, voice of Dragon Ball's Goku for Latin America, gives and additional appeal for fans of the popular anime franchise.
To give a voice and greater exposure to all the often-overlooked players of this underrated sport, who actually perform better than those from other disciplines, like soccer.
The project is complete, currently seeking for distribution. Early screenings have received positive reviews, generating strong expectations among frontenis players and fans. That's why we are pursuing the right partners to give Racket Power the plataform it deserves. Their audience is already there.
