The scariest people are normal people backed into a corner. Each clue no matter how small, ties back to something at the end. The opening scene is also the hook.

I wrote this after having my first child. I was sitting in a rocking chair with them at 3am trying to get them back to sleep. I had an idea of what if a security guard for an armored car was killed in broad daylight. I looked down at my child and thought, "what if the person who killed this security guard had an empty car seat in the back seat?" It was a therapeutic way to understand fatherhood and some of the changes that accompany it.

I believe audiences are desperate for new IPs and content. We went through a recycling phase, and now people want new stories. There are so many stories to tell and audiences have proved they want them. With the success of "Obsession" and "Backrooms," shows that audiences want new things.

I'm a Midwest guy. The Midwest is larger than people give it credit for and has been somewhat sidelined when it comes to movies and shows. It is a recurring pattern that when a Midwest show or movie gets greenlit, it generally performs very well. Think of a Wind River, Longmire, Fargo, Mare of Easttown, Yellowstone, etc. The Midwest audience is loyal and shows out for stuff they can relate to.
