A huge thank you to SoYoung for bringing Seon, Actually to us and for setting the project out so clearly. We at Hollywood Indie Festival are cheering you on as you continue to create. The pitch follows below.

Seon, Actually is a contemplative documentary exploring everyday human wisdom through a visually meditative cinematic language, inviting audiences to reconnect with presence, ethical communication, and our shared spiritual nature in a fragmented world.

Who is the ideal viewer for this project, and which existing films/series is it most comparable to?

This film is intended for a global audience interested in contemplative cinema, spiritually, ethical storytelling, social reflection. It speaks particularly to viewers who look for artistic contemplative cinematic experiences. It provides cultural authenticity to audiences seeking mindfulness, thus socially conscious public and private streaming platforms will be suitable.

What was the primary inspiration behind this story, and why is now the right time for the world to see it?

We are living in an era dominated by fast, manipulative, fear-driven media, Seon Actually offers a necessary counterpoint. My film creates space for reflection, care, and collective wisdom, proposing cinema as a tool for evolving social consciousness rather than degrading it.

Is the project fully completed, or are you currently seeking distribution, finishing funds, or representation?

This film has been conducted for the 7th years from the initial production and has been completed 4episodes, yet it is aiming to produce 10-12episodes for a series.
